As for her voyage to South America, Reese was there as global ambassador of Speak Out Against Domestic Violence campaign, telling reporters: "There isn''t a woman in the world that doesn't have a friend or a partner who''s actually experiencing some sort of violence against them, so I think although domestic violence hasn't happened to me personally, I certainly know women who are dealing with this struggle every day."

"Domestic violence affects women who are famous, who are not famous, women who have money, women who have no money. This is an issue that crosses all boundaries and it certainly affects everyone," she added.

She's well-known for being notoriously late to her gigs, and yesterday Amy Winehouse was true-to-form, showing up onstage 45 minutes late for her concert at the Isle of Wight’s Bestival.

A source told press, "It's common for artists to make requests for food and beverages before they arrive. But organizers have heard Miss Winehouse has ordered in an extremely large amount of Jack Daniel's, in fact, a ridiculous amount that she and her team could not possibly consume during their short stay."

Selena Gomez Goes Promoting, Denies Jonas Rumors

Teaming up with her fellow cast members from "Wizards of Waverly Place", Selena Gomez was on-hand for promotional duties at the World of Disney store in New York City on Saturday (September 6).

Besides promoting her hit Disney Channel show, the 16-year-old up-and-coming star has been busy denying rumors about her supposed relationship with Nick Jonas.

Insisting that her new song “I’m Sorry” is isn't about the youngest Jonas brother, Selena told People magazine: “It’s definitely not about Nick Jonas. It’s about someone back home in Texas. When I read it, I was like, ‘Oh no this gossip has to go away!’ I haven’t known the Jonas Brothers for that long, but I’ve gotten really close with all of them.”

Getting away from relationship talk, Selena happily gushed about "Gossip Girl", her favorite TV show: “I absolutely love it. I think the whole cast knows that I like their show. They all looked as a group and waved and smiled at me [at last month’s Teen Choice Awards]. I almost had a heart attack!”
