Zac Efron Heads Off to Toronto

Heading off to the Toronto Film Festival, Zac Efron was spotted at LAX taking a flight to Canada from Los Angeles on Thursday (September 4).

The Disney hunk sported a striped v-neck t-shirt with jeans, sneakers and a beanie as he smilingly entered the airport and made his way past security.

In related news, Efron recently spoke out about growing famous through his role in the three movie series “High School Musical”.

The 20-year-old actor calls the experience bittersweet, saying: "You don't realize until it's gone, but it is so important to feel normal. I'm growing up under a magnifying glass, and I just try to rise above it and live my life. I'm not going to complain. But it's something I'm learning to cope with."

Efron will star in the third and final part of the “High School Musical” series later this year. He plays a high school senior named Troy in the movie, alongside his co star and real life girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Of his character, Efron says: "The stakes are higher because there are real decisions to be made. What college are you going to? What happens to the girl? It's fun watching Troy grow into a man!"

Along with HSM, Zac is also set to appear in two other box office releases, 17 Again, with Matthew Perry, and Me and Orson Welles, which is described as a period film.

Gwen Stefani Debuts Post-Baby Body

Just two short weeks after giving birth to her second child, Zuma Nesta, Gwen Stefani showed off her post-pregnancy curves while making a routine doctor's appointment visit with husband Gavin Rossdale at LA's Cedars-Sinai Hospital on Thursday (September 4).

According to a source on the scene, the always-stunning pop performer "looked fit and beautiful, flashing a much smaller belly and a sly grin. She looked healthy, happy and radiant - with that new mommy glow."

Following her medical check-up, the "Hollaback Girl" singer headed to the pharmacy before returning back home to her new bundle of joy.

Of her experience as a mother, Stefani recently told press: "I feel happier now, I know every mother must feel this way, but watching your child grow up and learn new things every day is one of the greatest and purest pleasures you can have."

Miley and Tish Cyrus: Cafe Metro Date

Continuing along with her romp around the Big Apple, Miley Cyrus was spotted stopping at Cafe Metro in New York City to have lunch with her mother Tish Cyrus.

After finishing up her midday meal, the "Hannah Montana" starlet flashed a smile and the peace sign to nearby paparazzi as she made her way to an awaiting car.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Miley will be in staying Manhattan through the end of the week per her “Stand Up To Cancer” benefit duties.

For the charitable event, the “7 Things” songstress will reportedly be performing “Just Stand Up” with a host of fellow celebrities.

Beyonce Knowles Talks Weight Gain, Future

Beyonce Knowles is well known for her smoking hot body and her “bootylicious” behind. But Miss Knowles recently got a break from the gym, as she had to pack on the pounds for her role in the upcoming movie "Cadillac Records".

Interestingly enough, the "Irreplaceable" singer told press that she had to gain twenty pounds to play the role of Etta James in her new flick.

Beyonce spoke of the weight gaining process saying it "was so much fun" but adds that she had difficulty losing the weight for her next role in the psychological thriller Obsessed, saying: "I was so angry with myself. I was like, 'D'oh! Why do you have to go through this?'”The diva says that she limits her diet "No chips, no candy, no desserts, no junk food, no fried food."

Knowles, whose 27th birthday is today (September 4), also mentioned her onstage alter ego, Sasha, adding that when she's onstage she does things she doesn’t normally do. “I have out-of-body experiences. If I cut my leg, if I fall, I don't even feel it. I'm so fearless, I'm not aware of my face or my body."

As for the rest of her music career, “I'm over being a pop star," she says. "I don't wanna be a hot girl. I wanna be iconic. And I feel like I've accomplished a lot. I feel like I'm highly respected, which is more important than any award or any amount of records. I feel like there comes a point when being a pop star is not enough. I am really proud that I am one of the artists that has the opportunity to be on magazine covers and to be in the movies. And I do think that I'm opening doors for more black women, just like Halle Berry and Diana Ross opened doors for me."

She’s never in one city for very long, and the latest destination for Miley Cyrus is NYC. The “Hannah Montana” babe was spotted out and about in the Big Apple earlier today on her way to Green Spa.

And it sounds like this November, Miss Cyrus will be celebrating her sweet 16 birthday with an uber-cool new car- a Mercedes CLK 550 Cabriolet!

According to sources, Miley plunked down a cool $75,000 for the fully-loaded luxury sports car. And she got it customized to fit her needs. "Miley wanted special options like parking assist and a cream-colored leather interior, so she ordered the car early. She's telling everyone that she hopes to get a car when she turns 16, so when it comes, she can say it was a surprise from her parents."

Cyrus recently told press, "I definitely want to get something bad on the road, big enough for all my friends and to scare all the cars away from me. I'm a good driver but it's everyone else that I'm worried about!"

Kelly Brook: Looking Good in London

It was all about glitz and glamour as Kelly Brook made her rounds in London, England last night, grabbing a swanky dinner and attending a high-profile awards show.

The “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo” hottie was spotted looking sizzling as she exited the uber-trendy Cipriani restaurant sporting a strapless shiny black dress with matching heels.

And the recently-single-again Miss Brook (she broke up with longtime boyfriend Billy Zane yet again last month) also wowed the crowd at the Living TV’s 15th Anniversary Awards event.

Jessica Simpson Opens Up

Maintaining her busy schedule, Jessica Simpson was spotted hitting up a local tanning salon before departing on a plane at the Burbank Airport yesterday (September 3).

And recently, the “Come On Over” songstress put her life on pause to talk to FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay about some of the content on her upcoming album “Do You Know.”

Regarding the track “Remember That,” Jess revealed, "It was one of those moments that just moved me to tears — it's empowering. It's about that woman really standing up for herself in an abusive situation whether it is mental, physical, emotional. Everybody has dealt with abuse in some sort of way."

Miss Simpson continued, "I thought it was important to tell women to take their heart and run as fast as they can if they're in that situation, because you're better than that."

Speaking of abuse, the “With You” singer also spoke about the beating she’s been taking from the media. "I am a very open person, but how the media is these days makes it hard. Unfortunately people want to believe bad stuff and I just don't understand that — sometimes it is like a personal attack. It's a challenge for me to act like it's just part of my career. If they knew your heart, they wouldn't be talking about you like this."

Kirsten Dunst: Out in Hollywood

She’s been lying pretty low lately, but yesterday Kirsten Dunst was spotted out and about in Hollywood, California, enjoying some time with a gal pal.

It was a social afternoon for the “Spider-Man” babe, as she was later seen walking her dog on the way to lunch with a group of friends.

And Kirsten looked classy in a short black dress along with a pair of black flats, later changing into a more casual green t-shirt dress with brown sandals.

In related news, Miss Dunst recently got author Toby Young (the writer of the novel ‘How to Lose Friends and Alienate People) banned from the set of her new movie, based on his book.

Young told press, "She overheard me giving the producer a ‘note’ on her performance in a particular scene. At the time, I didn't think of it as a criticism, more as a helpful bit of advice, and the producer took it in that spirit.”

He continued, "But Kirsten overheard this exchange and interpreted it as a complaint about her acting ability. It was after this, apparently, that she took Bob (Weide, the director) to one side and asked if I could be kept at arm’s length in future.”

"Bob carried out this edict with a good deal of tact. I didn't realize it, but this was, in effect, Bob carrying out Kirsten’s instructions."

Katy Perry: "Hot N Cold" Video Vixen

She blasted onto the world’s pop music scene with her scandalous hit “I Kissed a Girl,” and now Katy Perry is hoping to make lightening strike twice with her new single.

Sporting a white spaghetti strap tank top and belted high-waisted white shorts teamed with a pair of pink flats, Perry was spotted gallivanting around Los Angeles as she shot her new video for “Hot N Cold.”

As for the rumors that she threatened to pull her performance from this Sunday’s MTV Video Music awards because she wasn’t chosen as the opening act, Katy says that’s not the case.

The New York Post reported that Perry was heard “complaining that she wasn’t asked to open at the VMAs because her song is too provocative.” But her rep told press that she was “overheard incorrectly,” and that she will be performing at the show.

Jessica Simpson: Happy to Have a Second Chance

Following a dinner date at Beso with her good pal Ken Paves last evening, Jessica Simpson was up bright-and-early as she headed off to Burbank from Los Angeles.

Prior to her flight, the "You're My Sunday" singer dropped by a Tanning Salon in North Hollywood, getting in a quick fake bake session before flying off to the Bob Hope Airport.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Jess recently told press that she has no immediate plans to return to acting, saying: “I’m not closing that chapter of my life by any means. But I am all about the music right now."

The former "Newlyweds" star continued to explain: “When it comes to acting, it’s gotta feel right for me at this point in my life. It’s gotta just be a really incredible director and production with an awesome studio and great cast … But for me right now it’s just Jessica Simpson is music.”

“(On stage), when I say, ‘Thank you for giving me a second chance,’ I feel like I’m having a comeback. I’m on solid ground again,” Ms Simpson adds of fans accepting her into country music. “They can look to me for inspiration. I wanna be a role model.”

Jennifer Aniston's Stalker Role

Hard at work on the set, Jennifer Aniston kept busy shooting scenes for her guest role on NBC’s "30 Rock" in New York City on Wednesday night (September 3).

According to press reports, Miss Aniston is taking on the role of Claire Harper, the former roommate of Liz Lemon who ends up stalking Jack Donaghy.

Of having the former "Friends" star on the show, "30 Rock" actress Tina Fey (who plays Liz Lemon) told press: "Jennifer is not only incredibly lovely to have around, she also has what the young people would call 'mad skills. We're very excited that she's joining us."

And while the actual episode in which Jen will appear is still unknown, insiders believe it will either be the first or second episode of the season. "30 Rock" returns to the air with its third season premiere on October 30th 9:30 PM on NBC.

Britney Spears to Kick Off MTV VMAs

Ready to take the stage this Sunday night (September 7), it has been confirmed that Britney Spears will be opening the show at the MTV Video Music Awards.

"MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?" Spears told press. "I'm excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated."

Previously, Brit's manager Larry Rudolph has said that a musical performance will not be part of the opening act - and as of now, it's still unknown how she'll open the show.

Just as excited as everyone else to see what's in store, MTV Networks Music President Van Toffler said: "Britney has done everything from perform with a snake, lock lips with Madonna and prove that what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas. I can't wait to see what she does to kick off this year's show."

Christina Aguilera on Baby Max: "I Really Lucked Out"

Looking yummy in yellow, new mom Christina Aguilera was spotted carrying her 8-month-old son Max Liron Bratman out of their New York City hotel on Wednesday afternoon (September 3).

Shortly thereafter, Aguilera's husband Jordan Bratman was spotted exiting the couple's temporary resting spot at the Soho Grand Hotel, as well, tending to the couple's two dogs.

Back to Christina and Max, the "Genie In A Bottle" singer recently gushed about her young love during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, telling: "[He is] amazing, incredible. He just lights up my whole world every day with his laughs and his smiles."

Offering details of her growing son's progress, the 27-year-old Grammy-winning singer tells that Max has started crawling, saying: "He's a mover and shaker. He's just a smiley, happy guy. I really lucked out."

Palin Family Meets Up with John McCain

Continuing along with their hectic Republican National Convention schedules, Republican presidental candidate John McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin were spotted meeting up with Sarah's daughter and her babydaddy on Wednesday (September 3).

Bristol Palin and her fiancé Levi Johnston happily shook hand with McCain before posing for pictures at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Along with Sarah, Bristol and her beau, numerous other Palin family members also made the tarmac meet-up - with the whole group headed over to Xcel Energy Center for tonight's festivities.

Later this evening, Senator McCain will be giving his acceptance speech for the Republican nomination for president - readying for the stretch run leading up to November's elections.

Jennifer Lopez: Happy with Two Children

Looks like two children are enough for Jennifer Lopez, as JLo took a break from her triathlon training for an interview with Elle magazine in which she reveals that she and her singer hubby Marc Anthony aren’t necessarily planning to have any more babies.

It took the couple quite some time to successfully become pregnant in the first place, Lopez says. "We knew nothing was wrong with either one of us — I had been checked, and Marc had kids already, I knew something's not ready here, in my head or in my life, and when it is, I know it's going to happen.”

Then one day while she was getting her hair and makeup done, Jennifer explains: "I felt a flutter. The weirdest little ... flourish," she recalls. "My makeup artist said, 'What’s the matter?' I didn't say anything, but in my head, I was like, 'I have life inside me!'"

Continuing on, Lopez adds: "While pregnant, we came off tour and I said (to Anthony), 'I did the superwoman thing, I finished the tour — now I need you to take care of me. I love doing things for you; if I'm not cooking, then I'm picking out a shirt. But this is the first time in my life where I'm just going to be a little bit selfish. I don't know if I'm going to have kids again, so I want it to be a beautiful experience. I don't want to have any drama. I want to just be smiling every day.'"

Even with twin infants at home, the singer/actress still finds time for herself, as she's competing in her first triathlon on September 14th in Malibu. Of the event benefiting the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Lopez proudly said: "I feel great. I have more energy – I'm proud of myself."

Samantha Ronson Steps Out in Sydney

She’s watched her career go from underground success to six-figure, single-gig salaries. And Samantha Ronson is loving her latest gig.

The celebrity deejay was spotted on the red carpet at the 3rd Birthday Celebration of the Zeta Bar at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, Australia earlier today, though she seemed a bit camera shy.

During her time in Aussie land, Sam says she’s looking forward to seeing the sights and taking it all in. And there are two things on her must-do list- ‘seeing a koala bear’ and ‘checking out the Ksubi store.’

According to her MySpace blog, Ronson is missing a certain ‘someone’ she left behind in New York, to which Lindsay Lohan replied, “guess who loves you!”
